Refinement and finesse along with natural materials, wood and ceramic, dictate the design of the new Filigno kitchen, which creates a flowing transition from the kitchen to the living-dining area.
The front part of the island is the height of a sideboard, while the attached work surface made of ceramic turns it into a functional cooking island. The transition is made clear by the change in height and material, but the living spaces melt together harmoniously in use. This merging of the living areas is highlighted by the delicate casing of 12 mm thin solid wood panels, which is also a design feature of the eponymous Filigno occasional furniture. The base is recessed on the side, emphasizing the visual lightness of the Filigno kitchen island and making it appear to float.
